Japanese Restaurant: Don Don Izakaya

Went out for dinner on Friday night with a friend to Don Don Izakaya. I finally got to try this restaurant! Ate a lot of yummy food. =D

My thoughts: I like this restaurant more than Guu. Why? Because they have much more variety of food to choose from than Guu and the atmosphere seem to be much better. It's not as loud as it is at Guu and you can actually talk to people and be able to hear them while eating. I also like how Don Don Izakaya have individual rooms where you can reserve to have some quiet private time with friends. I'd really like to try eating in a private room with a big group of friends. Overall my experience at the restaurant for the first time was pretty good. My favourite was actually their dessert! First time trying taro ice cream and to my surprise it was really good! Definitely want to go back for their dessert. ♥ My only complain would be the service can be a little slow. It wasn't really that busy at the restaurant as my friend and I were there quite early for dinner but there were a few times when we wanted to get the attention of the waiter/waitress and it took us a few attempts to actually get them to serve us. Other than that, everything else about the restaurant seems to be pretty good and I'd recommend it if you haven't been there. =)

Black Wedge Sneakers

Last week on Friday I finally purchased my first pair of wedge sneakers! They've been in trend and style in Japan for the past few years now and the trend doesn't seem to be going away anytime soon. I thought it'd be a great opportunity to get a pair for the summer this year. Consistently seeing them appear in Japanese magazines and on tumblr has made me want to get them sooo badly. I originally went into to Aldo to look for them but they were a bit pricey in the range between $70-90 for a pair. I didn't want to spend so much money on pair of shoes that I'll only be using simply for "matching" outfits with. I own about 50 pair of shoes by now (okay maybe that's an exaggeration...I think I may have over 20 pair of shoes. I didn't really count them, lol) and only wear the same 2-3 pairs on a daily/yearly basis and the rest I just keep them in my closet to collect dust, lol. But I remembered that I have seen these wedge sneakers being sold at Ardene for a much cheaper price at $40 and decided to go check if they had any in stock. Luckily they still have some left and I ended up getting a pair in size 7 that fits a bit loose on me. I'm a size 5 and it is almost impossible for me to find shoes here in Canada that will fit me perfectly. Sucks having small feet! The only place I can find shoes in my size would be in Asia. However, they didn't fit that big on me that they'd fall off if I walk in them so I guess it's bearable.

I'm quite satisfied with my purchase overall other than the a little big size matter. I love how at the back of heels there are even studs attached to add a bit more of a "funky edgy" look to it. I think I might want to get a pair in white for the summer just so I have colour variety to match outfits with, lol.

All About YesStyle & FAQS

I've been meaning to do a post like this for a long time but never really had time to actually sit down and write it. I actually recently introduced a friend of mine to this site because she got curious as to where I buy all my clothes and shoes from. So in this online store review post, I'll share some of my insightful thoughts as a customer with 4 years of shopping experience with them and to answer some FAQS that I get quite a lot from people as well. Both from friends in real life and online.

First off, let's start with some general info. What is YESSTYLE?

Company overview: YesStyle is the first online retailer to globally distribute a wide range of lifestyle and fashion products from Asia through their website YesStyle.com. Every season, YesStyle brings customers the latest trends along with thousands of fashion items from designers across Asia. YesStyle.com now represents the best platform for designers in Asia to connect with customers worldwide.

Mission: To provide customers with an exciting shopping experience, superior service and a fine selection of affordable, high quality lifestyle products.

YesStyle brings the latest fashion trends to customers worldwide. Launched in July 2006, the YesStyle.com website leverages the success of YesAsia.com's proven e-commerce platform and technology to deliver customers an exciting and unique destination for lifestyle products. With just a few clicks and strokes, YesStyle customers can help shape their lives with a variety of lifestyle products delivered straight to their doorstep.

Personally, I think YesStyle is by far one of my most favourite online store that I have ever come across. I can't imagine my life without it ever since I've discovered the site 4 years back. What I like most about them is that they carry fashion that are in the latest trend and style from Tokyo, Seoul, Taiwan and Hong Kong. Being an Asian person myself and who also happen to have extreme high interest in Asian fashion and style, especially the fashion style and trends in Japan so YesStyle is like a store of dreamland for people like me! If you love Asian/Korean/Japanese fashion as much as I do then you will LOVE this online store! Another thing I love about them is they don't just sell clothing but they also sell a variety range of other things such as makeup, skincare products, bags, jewelry, shoes, life style products (travel, stationery, home essentials, personal organizers, gadgets, pet accessories, tablets/mobile/computer accessories) and more. It's like a complete Asian outlet mall but on the web!

Be warned because you'll get very addicted to shopping on there like as if it's a drug and you might possibly go bankrupt because you just simply want to buy EVERYTHING on the site...I'm not even kidding, lol. XD

Jokes aside, let's get down to business. Or maybe I am not joking afterall, hahaha. =P

Some most frequently asked questions by people I know and general information that most people might want to know about.

1. Are clothes from YesStyle expensive?

To simply answer this question...it DEPENDS! It depends on what you're buying, where it's from (the place/country it's from), the brand, the quality of the item, the style, etc. All these contribute to a big factor of the cost. Generally speaking I don't think clothes from YesStyle are all that expensive if you know where to shop and what to shop for. There are the exceptional brands and clothes from specific places that are a bit more on the pricier high end range. When I mean pricey....it can range up to $100-200. From my 4 years of shopping experience, I've come to a conclusion that brands and clothes that are usually from KOREA are more on the expensive scale. Clothes and brands from Hong Kong, Taiwan and Japan are more in the middle to cheaper range. Usually I never buy anything that is over $40-50 simply because I don't think it's worth spending so much money on clothes unless it's something that I REALLY want and like then I will consider getting it. But in general I'd say the stuff that I have bought from the site are mostly in the $15-30 range. There are times when there are sales on where I have bought clothes for as cheap as $10. So it is good to say that you can find very great cheap deals from the site when you are shopping for the right items and at the right time

2. How does sizing work? (Onesize,S,M,L,XL)

I think one of the most frequently asked questions I get on this is what exactly is a onesize clothes size? Generally speaking, a onesize clothes size is like a "free size" that fits all. More specifically speaking, it's in between of a size small to medium. I have a pretty typical standard Asian body frame. And because of that I don't really have a problem fitting into the "oneseize" clothes. However, if you are a girl who's a bit more on the skinnier side then you might find a onesize item to fit quite loose and big on you. Also, in some cases on the onesize item, it will list the measurements so you can always judge by that as to whether if it'd fit you by matching the measurements to your own. And in most cases where you are buying shorts/pants, there is an option to choose your size like 24, 25, 26, etc just like how any online clothing site would. If you are actually a person who's a bit more on the bigger side, don't worry, YesStyle doesn't just sell clothes that fit the general skinny people. There are bigger size clothes for those who are not part of the general size norm. I have never bought anything that does not fit me before. (i.e. too loose or too tight) Everything I have bought from the site so far fits good and I don't have any problems at all. But that may also be just me and my standard Asian body size, lol. But I also think it's like shopping in person at an actual store. The more you shop and buy clothes from a specific store, the more you will learn and know what size fits you best. I know I always range in different sizes depending on which stores I shop at. One store I might be in a little bigger size and the other I might be in a smaller size. It's just all about experience and knowing your own body type.

3. What is the shipping cost?

Generally speaking I think shipping is pretty cheap compared to other online stores that I have been to. The express 3 day shipping is only $9.99 and sometimes there is the special offer of $4.99 for standard shipping that takes about 6-10 business days to be delivered. YesStyle also offer FREE shipping when you make an order over $150. However, DO NOT pick that option, especially if you live in Canada where you get charged for custom duties and tax. I have made that same mistake like many people who think it's better to order and buy more just so you can get free shipping. Let me tell you that will be the BIGGEST mistake you'll ever make!!! I got charged two times for custom duties from DHL Canada where I had to pay $60 and $80 just to receive my packages. Like WTF....CRAZY!!! If I don't pay the person who delivered my package to me then it will be sent back to Canada post and I will have to make a trip there to pay and get it. Not cool at all! So I have learned to never make the same mistake and just split my orders into two separate packages instead. Yes, that would mean I have to pay for shipping twice but that is better than having to pay extra $60-80 just so you can get the package they sent you! And let me warn you, I have NO IDEA how these custom duty rates are calculated but it seems that they can just charge you anything and however much they like. Pretty ridiculous and stupid I know. And I have also learned from my past experience of buying things online that you should NEVER buy anything that is worth over $100 because you will definitely be charged for custom duties and tax for it. So unless you enjoy paying for custom duties and tax (which I don't!) then it's best to always make all of your online orders below $100.

4. Where does YesStyle ship from? Do they ship worldwide?

Yesstyle is actually based in Hong Kong. So everything they ship is actually shipped from Hong Kong. And yes, they do ship worldwide aside from U.S. and Canada. I have seen bloggers who are from Australia and Philippines that shop at YesStyle.

5. What is the clothing quality like? Good or Bad?

Again, this is a question where it depends on what type of clothes you're buying. Generally I'd say most items that I have bought are in pretty good quality with the exceptional few. I'd say to always buy things that are made out of cotton! Anything made out of cotton is usually in the more "better" quality category and everything else like polyester, chiffon, nylon, etc is more on the "bad" quality category. My mom, who does sewing for a life career and knows much about fabric quality have always told me to never buy clothes that are made out of polyester and nylon because they attract dust and lint the most and is super hard to maintain in good quality after washing it. You can always find in the description about the item where it tells you what it is actually made out of. So I'd always check that before I buy anything and as well as checking the measurements to make sure it will fit me.

6. What if the item you bought doesn't fit or you don't like it? Can you return it?

YES! You certainly can. YesStyle has a 14 day return policy available which I actually have never used before. But from my understanding and what I know, you can return items that are defective, wrong size, or simply unwanted. However, YesStyle will NOT refund you the item if you simply do not want it for any reasons but instead they will give you a credit value to use on your next order and it will be deducted from your total value. In the case of an exchange size matter then they will ship the item back to you again at no cost. They actually have a postal return address that you can send to in Canada.

PO Box 42103

Attn: Ms.Chu

7. I ordered an item 2-3 weeks ago but YesStyle sent me an email stating the item is no longer in stock. Why is that and what do I do?

This will happen VERY FREQUENTLY but don't panic!!! The reason being is whatever you see online on the website at YesStyle isn't always available at their warehouse. YesStyle actually has to get them from the supplier (brands and companies who sell the clothes from the original place) and once you place an order for that item, YesStyle makes a request for that item from them on your behalf. This is why you sometimes see this on an item when you save or add it to your shopping bag:

When the item availability is listed as "usually ships within 1-2 days" that generally means they do have the item in stock available ready to be shipped and they don't really need to get it from the supplier. But if it is listed as "usually ships within 7-14 days" then it means they need to get it from the supplier and you can expect that you may or may not get the item depending on if the supplier actually has it in stock. In a case where the item is not available anymore or out of stock, YesStyle will remove it from your order. However, let say you had 4 items in your order and 2 got cancelled/removed due to being out of stock, it'd be kind of pointless just getting 2 items and paying shipping for it. So if you want to add another new item to replace it, you just simply email customer service with your name, order number and write in the comment box with a message of what you'd like to add and provide the link to the item in the email. Customer service will then send you a confirmation email that the item is added with the revised order total and they will search the item for you from the supplier.

8. Are there any sales, discounts and coupon deals?

Yes! YesStyle always have sales on new arrivals and end of season sales at the end of every season. In terms of discounts and coupons, YesSytle only offers discounts for members who have earned a high amount of "stylebucks" points. Generally every time you buy something from the website, you earn stylebucks points in which they accumulate to give you discounts depending on your club status. This would actually be my only complain about the site that I don't like so much and wish they could improve better on. You have to buy A LOT of stuff from YesStyle within a year to earn a great amount of stylebucks points and the most discount you can get is actually 10%. I'm currently an elite club silver member so I get 5% off regular priced items but sometimes when there are sales on, that 5% can add up to 20-30% off. I wish YesStyle could give you a higher discount like 15% or even 20% for customers who buy frequently from the site. But I guess with the amount of consistent sales and promos they have on the site, you still somehow end of saving and buying things at a rather cheaper price.

9. When is the best time to shop on the website?

Generally I'd say the best time to shop on the website is when they have end of season sales. Things can drop down to a pretty cheap price and you can get some really good deals. I used to buy clothes from the website every season but I stopped about 2 years ago because I realized that it wasn't really worth it. I live in a country where fall and spring don't last very long. And usually it takes about 2-4 weeks and sometimes even longer for my order to be processed and shipped to me due to cancellations/out of stock issues so I have to wait quite a long time before I actually receive the items to put them in use. So now I only buy clothes from the website during winter and summer where I will actually have more time to wear the clothes that I got from the website. I just find that it's more "worthwhile" and I'd buy clothes at the local stores in the mall where I live for fall and spring. Hello H&M and Forever21! lol.

10. Is there an actual YesStyle store?

Yes there is! YesStyle currently has one store in the United States located in San Francisco.

Address:
Stonestown Galleria (Upper Level)
3251 20th Ave, Suite 239
San Francisco, CA 94132
Phone: 415-661-8390

YouTube sensation group WongFu Productions have gone to the actual store and recorded a video footage of it which you can watch here. Someday I think I might want to visit the actual store in San Francisco just to see how it is! But overall I pretty much enjoy my online shopping experience with YesStyle. =)

This concludes the end of my review and facts about the global online retailer on YesStyle. I hope you found it insightful and helpful! This post took me soooooo long to write but I wanted to give as much details as possible for my readers who are reading this to understand it fully. If you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment below and I'll be glad to answer you in the best that I can! =)

I think I will do another separate post later on where I will be featuring some of my favourite brands from the site for those who are new to the website and need some guidance and suggestions on what and where to start off looking because it can get a bit confusing at first. So stay tuned for that if you are interested! =D

I will also be doing another shoes haul and review from the site as well as my last one seemed to be a really popular post where I get the most views and search results for. This time I'll do one for summer shoes because my last one was more for fall and winter.

Review: Kao Rose Scent Steam Eye Mask

About two weeks ago I received my package of beauty supplies that I ordered from YesStyle. I picked up 4 boxes of My Beauty Diary mask along with a steam eye mask by Kao in rose scent. I have wanted to try this mask for a long time to cure my super dried and tired eyes from lack of sleep and long periods of time in front of a computer.

Info on the eye mask: Dry and easy-to-use eye masks relieve eye strain and stress caused by too much computer use or too little sleep. Self-heating masks relax tired eyes with warm and soothing steam, while the delicate rose scent delights the senses. Safe and convenient, simply open the pack when ready to use and slip over closed eyes. Lean back and keep eyes shut for 10-15 minutes before removing eye mask.

The mask was very simple to use. You basically just open the pack and slip it over with your eyes closed. I laid on my bed and put the mask on for about 10 minutes and set a timer on my iPod while I listened to music to pass the time. The rose scent was a bit strong at first when I put the eye mask on but it slowly gets lighter. The eye mask also slowly warms up to 40 degree and it really relax and sooth my eyes. I can see a difference in my eyes from before and after I used the eye mask. My eyes look much more moisturized and refreshed! I would probably get more when I do run out and finish using the current box that I bought. Overall it's a pretty relaxing and soothing eye mask for curing tired eyes, especially on those nights where I feel like my eyes are burned and dried out. My only complain would be the price, it could be a little cheaper at $15. But overall I'd say the mask is pretty good for what it serves to do! =)

And because YesStyle was having this promo sale on where if you buy 4 boxes of My Beauty Diary mask, you will get $15 off so that means each box was only $10 and not $15 at original price! So I got the black pearl and strawberry yogurt mask (my two favourites) along with a pack of aloe and bulgarian white rose mask. =)

And lastly this is unrelated to this post but I wanted to show my new "mori girl" princess style iPhone case that I got on eBay last week. I've been wanting to get a iPhone case with a front cover to protect my phone from getting dusty and dirtied when I put my phone in my purse or jacket pocket. This is perfect! It's so girly and pink that it's just soooo me. lol.

Shopping: Forever21 and Conair Youcurl Curling Iron

Sorry for the lack of updates. I started a new job this week so I was super busy with training and then I'm usually sooooo tired after I get home that I just pass out on my bed. lol. Also, I caught a bit of a cold on Friday morning when I woke up with a sore throat and really warm body. Coincidentally my mom also woke up to a sore throat the same morning and my brother was already sick with a cold a few days ago. It must be him spreading the cold to me and my mom and surprisingly my dad seems fine. So right now my entire family is sick except for my dad. I also blame it on the non-stop rain we've been having and the super cold and windy weather this entire week. It was actually SNOWING on Thursday like wtf?! It NEVER snows in April here in Toronto. Talk about global warming. -____-" Also I've only had about 3.5 hours of sleep both on Monday and Tuesday this week so I was basically feeling like a zombie at work everyday and falling asleep! (x_x)zzz

This super gloomy and rainy weather isn't helping much either. I can't wait for warm sunshine weather that probably won't come until May because it still shows on the weather network that it will be raining all week next week and the week after. OMG! I can't stand this raining and gloomy dark weather anymore. It literally puts me to sleep and makes me sooooooo tired! X____X I can't even go out to JOG in this super dark gloomy rainy weather either. Ughhhhh. Not cool! >=(

Anyway, I did some shopping earlier this week when I got off work early and bought a few things. I actually just went out to do some more shopping for notebooks, sticky pads, pens, highlighters and etc today to get ready for my official first work shift on Monday next week. lol. Trying to prepare myself and I still need to write and make notes tomorrow so that I don't freak out and have a panic attack because I know I won't remember or know what I'm suppose to do. It's better to be prepared with notes than to be panicking with a mental breakdown. XD

Bought this light denim jeans shirt with some pearls on the collar and the side shoulders from Forever21 yesterday after work. It was the LAST one on the rack. I just so happen to find it/see it. Lucky me! =D I wanted to get this shirt before and it was sold out at another Forever21 that I went to. So happy that I actually found it yesterday! =)

Also picked up this light mint green sweater yesterday at Forever21. I absolutely LOVE the colour! I've been obsessed with mint lately. I still need to get mint jeggings and I'm currently still in search for a mint colour hi-lo maxi skirt/dress for spring and summer.

And I finally bought the Conair Youcurl curling iron that every YouTube guru has been raving about!!! It also won the #1 curling device in Canada and when I paid for this at the cashier in Wal-Mart, the cashier lady told me this is like the BEST curling iron invented. OMG. That makes me super excited to try curling my hair with it. It's actually not that expensive too. Only $37.96! =D I first discovered this curler when I watched a video someone doing a tutorial on how to curl their hair with the curling iron and I was sooooo amazed by the results!!! It creates very 3D and voluminous bouncy curls in which my current babybliss curling iron can't do because there's a clamp on the curler. This curler does not have a clamp so therefore you can curl your hair more precisely and freely to create longer lasting curls!

Here's a video demonstration by Jen (clothesencouters) on YouTube on how to curl your hair with it. I LOVE THIS GIRL AND HER VIDEOS! She has the most awesome fashion sense and styling tips!

Review: Shoes and Bags From Yeswalker

So about two months back, I discovered this new online shop "yeswalker" that sells quite a variety of shoes and bags with great promo deals and FREE worldwide shipping!!!

I first saw the ad for the website on my own blog at the side bar on the right. Talk about effective advertisement huh? My eyes were caught on guard by the "buy one get one FREE + free worldwide shipping" sign on their ad that I just had to check the website out. lol. And I am soooooo glad that I did because it is now my new favourite website to buy shoes and bags from.

How it works: Customers who purchase one item may choose a second item of equal or lesser value for free. Prices of free items will be automatically adjusted to “FREE” once added to the customer’s Shopping Bag.

OMG isn't that like the BEST deal ever?! Not only do you get the second item for free but you also get free shipping!!! This is by the far the only online shop website I know that offers this. Totally the most awesome deal if you ask me. With the two awesome good deals, I was pretty much sold and I was off on the site looking at what I should order/buy from there. LOL! XD

In the end I decided to buy two pair of boots and got TWO FREE BAGS on my purchases on 2 separate orders.

On my first order, I got a pair of slightly above ankle length black lace boots with some rhinestones and spikes at the side. I'm really into spikes lately and I don't have any boots in this particular style and I thought they would be good to wear in the spring/summer on days when I feel like being a little funky and playful edgy with my outfits. And since I can get a second item for FREE, I decided to get this super versatile black shoulder hobo bag with different and detachable straps in which you can wear the bag in 3 different ways!! Omg I absolutely love love love this bag sooooo much. It was like love at first sight and I just had to get it! I also super love the simple sleek design with the gold chains and zippers. So stylish and fashionable!!! ♥_♥ The boots cost $68 and the bag was $58 but I got it for free so in total I only paid $68 for the boots and bag + free shipping. Omg best deal ever! =D

And this is what the items look like when I got them in the mail. Pretty much 100% like what was shown on the website and the quality is great too!

For my second order, I got the same pair of rhinestones and spikes lace ankle boots but in beige. I couldn't find any other boots that I like in a different style and because I like the black version so much and I also have a lot of black boots and not much beige so I decided to get another pair in a different colour to match outfits with. And for my second FREE item, I got another versatile light cream beige bag with a bow accessory piece and brown straps. The bag can be worn as a side shoulder bag or you can actually attach the straps at the back and wear it as a backpack. Isn't it just so cute and unique?! I LOVE THIS BAG! I don't have any bags in this colour and style and it's just perfect for the summer! =) Again the boots were $68 and the bag was $42 and I got it for $68 in total for both the boots and bags + free shipping!

What the bag actually looks like. Pretty identical and similar to what is shown online.

Overall I'd highly recommend this site to my friends and readers who are reading this and I'd definitely be making more future purchases from the website. FREE second item and worldwide shipping, who wouldn't like that?! =P

What are you waiting for? GO ORDER NOW!!! I feel like I am promoting the site for them and yet I don't get paid to do it, lol. But really I just want to share this awesome online shop website that I have discovered with you and hope you can enjoy shopping there as much as I do. ^____^

Diet Tips To Stay Fit & Skinny

It's finally spring here!

With the warm weather approaching, it means it's time to dig out those skirts and shorts for spring and summer. Spring also means it's time to start training that body to look fit and good for the summer. It's time for me to part and say goodbye to all those extra fat and weight I have gained during the winter.

A lot of people have been asking me how do I stay skinny and keep my fit figure. I especially get asked this question a lot at work. People tell me I always look the same for years but that's not really true. I do gain a little weight and fat here and there but it's just not that noticeable. I think lately the most noticeable part of fat/weight gain is on my face. I feel like a double chin is growing! )"0"(

I wouldn't say I'm an extremely skinny person but average. I have parts of my body that I dislike and where I tend to build up fat the most. I'm pretty sure all girls have the same problem. We just never seem to be satisfied with our body and there's always areas where we want to improve on to attain that "perfect" body. I mostly gain fat around my upper arm, back, shoulders and the side of my chest. This has always been something I'm very self-conscious about and this year I plan to jog daily to hopefully tone them down to a desire figure that I want.

Since we're on the topic of getting fit, I'll share some diet tips of what I do to maintain my figure. It's not really anything special but just certain rules and eating habits that I go by.

#1: I always eat fruits and vegetables everyday.

I'm pretty much a fruits lover. I eat fruits pretty much on a daily basis and cannot go on a day without eating fruits. I usually eat fruits about 2-3 times a day. I used to dislike eating vegetables and would always only eat meat. However, that has changed ever since about 5-6 years ago and no matter what I'd always try to add a bit of greens to my food.

#2: Eating meals at the time you're suppose to.

This is one of the rules I always go by. I think anyone who knows me personally would know that I cannot skip my meals. If I ever skipped a meal and not eat then you'd know that there's definitely something wrong with me. lol. I always try to eat lunch during lunch hours between 12-1pm and sometimes at 2pm if my work schedule does not allow me to go on an earlier lunch break. But I usually never eat lunch after 2pm and eating lunch at 3pm is definitely a big no for me. As for dinner I always try to eat in between the time of 6-7:30pm. Anytime past that like 8-9pm would be an extreme late dinner for me and I'm usually too hungry to wait that long. I also take snack breaks in between my meals and I tend to feel hungry again every 2-3 hours after each meal. That's because I have pretty fast metabolism and also because I always eat until I'm only 80% full and not 100% so that my body can digest food much faster. So on average, I can actually eat about 5-6 meals a day.

#3: I drink water daily!

I drink water practically on a daily basis due to my work where I need to be talking to people everyday. I rarely ever drink pop or any type of soda drink unless I go out to eat dinner or eat fastfood which is something that I rarely do. Other than water, the only drinks that I drink mostly would be tea or soy bean milk.

#4: I eat chocolate and chips about a few times in a year.

Chocolates and chips are not really my favourite type of food. I rarely ever eat chocolates unless they are gifts given to me. But then again I'm one of those girls who would rather receive flowers than chocolates on valentine's day. The reason being is I tend to breakout whenever I consume a large amount of chocolates and chips and pimples are not pretty on the face and especially those huge zits! lol. But that doesn't mean I don't ever eat junk food. I just like to find better alternatives like lower calorie cookies and healthy biscuits to munch on.

#5: I eat fastfood about only a few times a year.

A lot of people ask me how do I stay away from eating fastfood. The answer is very simple...I'm super cheap! LOL. Fastfood is extremely expensive nowadays and not to mention how unhealthy it is. I can't believe a combo meal at McDonald's can cost almost $10 now!!! I still remember how you can buy a combo for only under $5 and now it is almost impossible. If I had to choose I'd probably spend my money buying clothes than to buy fastfood on a daily basis. XD And I don't really know why but I have pretty high resistance where I don't really crave for fastfood. I don't even remember when was the very last time I ever had pizza...probably over a year ago? lol.

#6: I treat myself to yummy desserts once in awhile.

Desserts are my ultimate weakness. If there is anything that I could and want to eat everyday it'd be dessert! Ice cream, crepes and cakes. Oh my goodness heaven. However because these food can be very fattening and high in calories, I give myself treats to them once in awhile when I feel like I deserve to be spoiled for a day or two. But honestly I *drool* like crazy whenever I see yummy desserts. XD
